Joanne has been a public relations and marketing professional for more than 30 years, specializing in healthcare, education, entertainment, non-profit organizations, and conservation, with a strong focus in tech. She has launched start-ups, prepared companies for public offering, and led teams for national brands such as Staples Advantage and Comcast Business. She likes to think she has a knack for getting to the core of client goals and offering fresh insight. Tech clients have been in SaaS, cloud, storage, enterprise collaboration, sales enablement, eCommerce, high-speed internet, satellite broadband, and social platform in the insurance, education, enterprise, healthcare, financial services, and consumer markets.
Although she started out wanting to be a special education teacher, Joanne’s degree from Boston University is in broadcast journalism. Having a journalism background, that includes practical experience working for newspapers and in television news, gives her credibility when working with reporters. For more than 10 years, Joanne has been a weekly columnist for her town’s local weekly newspaper, writing about open space issues in her community.
She loves to cook flavorful foods, decorate cakes that rival cooking shows, entertain friends, travel, host huge town events, and is a self-professed Pinterest junkie.
