Medal Counts: Rainier Brings Home a Silver from the Stevie® Awards

Bumping the U.S. medal count up by one, Rainier Communications announced it has won a silver medal Stevie® Award for Technology PR Campaign of the Year in The 13th Annual International Business Awards. The highly decorated technology PR agency brought home the silver for its resoundingly successful marketing campaign which launched the agency’s client Nano Dimension (NNDM:NASDAQ) in 2015.

Rainier’s “Unbound Marketing” campaign – a powerful combination of inbound marketing and outbound public relations strategies – provided Nano Dimension with an explosive launch into the marketplace in 2015, catapulting the startup past a crowded field in the 3D printer market. Calculated, precise and purposeful communications initiatives across traditional and social media channels ensured that the campaign secured the deepest and broadest brand presence for Nano Dimension. The client also greatly benefited from Rainier’s agency-wide HubSpot certification, as well as the firm’s deep experience launching new companies into crowded marketplaces.

“From day one of our engagement, the Rainier team’s enthusiasm, professionalism, and sound strategic counsel was a terrific match for our company,” said Simon Fried, Co-founder and Chief Business Officer of Nano Dimension. “The execution of our 3D printer launch – from the website redesign to impressive media and analyst coverage to a wildly successful CES – exceeded our expectations, and positioned us well for the next stage of our company’s growth.”

The International Business Awards (IBA) are recognized as the world's premier business awards, and its “Stevie” award has become one of the world's most coveted prizes. A record total of more than 3,800 nominations were submitted this year for the IBA from organizations of all sizes from more than 60 nations and territories and in virtually every industry. Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for “crowned,” the awards will be presented to winners at a gala awards banquet in Rome, Italy on October 21.

“One of the award judges specifically noted that the Rainier team demonstrated great execution in helping a startup meet relevant stakeholders and gain awareness,” said Steve Schuster, CEO and Founder of Rainier Communications. “And, with all humility, I have to agree that judge is spot on – as a technology PR agency, Rainier is world class at launching technology products and companies. Winning a silver medal from the Stevies is a genuine tribute to the wonderful magic that happens when Rainier’s skills and passion work hand-in-glove with a truly superb client.”

Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 200 executives worldwide who participated in the judging process from May through early August.
