First, Rainier recommended a comprehensive PR program to establish a leadership presence for GigaSpaces. The team created a set of approved messages and worked tirelessly to ensure the media and analysts communicated them to customers. Next, Rainier targeted key influencers, and executed on a plan that included tier 1 and 2 press announcements, event briefings, plus proactive pitching and contributed content.

Most recently, GigaSpaces’ launched its new version of Cloudify − Cloudify 3.0., which brought intelligence to cloud orchestration. Rainier formulated an outreach strategy, connected with influencers, and exceeded all metrics with 10 analyst briefings, 6 embargos, 16 articles, plus on-message coverage in Information Week and SiliconAngle.
In a separate announcement, Rainier’s outreach on an important partnership with SanDisk for big data and in-memory computing resulted in eight pieces of key coverage, including a GigaOM Research Report, “Data analytics world gets new releases, new partnerships, en masse.”
Face-to-face briefings at events such as CloudStack helped GigaSpaces increase mindshare with Yankee Group Analyst Chris Marsh andInformation Management Editor William McKnight, among other influencers. At OpenStack Silicon Valley and OpenStack Paris, GigaSpaces formed lasting relationships with analyst Donna Scott of Gartner, Paul Miller of GigaOm Research, and IDC’s Iris Feng, Gary Chen, and Larry Carvalho thanks to Rainier’s introduction.
Rainier proactively engaged Heavy Reading analyst Caroline Chappell, Forrester analysts James Statten and Dave Bartoletti, 451Research analyst Matt Aslett, ACG Research, Paul Parker, and Current Analysis analyst Charlotte Dunlap to ensure GigaSpaces was included in reports. Panel placements with DM Radio “Straddling the Future: How to Design Hybrid Cloud Environments” and “DevOps: Where the Action Really Happens,” now reside on the Information Management site. Inside Big Data recorded a SlideCast entitled, “Intro to In-Memory Computing & GigaSpaces,” which was replicated as a podcast in High-Performance Computing Magazine.
