CREATING A WHOLE NEW PARADIGM FOR PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD GENERATION

Challenge

Rainier was challenged with creating awareness of Nano Dimension in the U.S., introducing the company’s new line of AgCite™ conductive inks to the U.S. market and beyond, and seeding the market for the forthcoming introduction of the company’s DragonFly 3D printer for printed electronics. We also worked on educating audiences on traditional 3D printing versus Nano Dimension’s printer for printing functioning prototypes of complex printed circuit boards.

Strategy

Rainier’s approach included a variety of public relations strategies:

  • Partnering with Nano Dimension, Rainier helped re-design the company’s entire website and implemented HubSpot.
  • Modified all website content to ensure consistent messaging and keyword optimization.
  • Established the visual brand of Nano Dimension – from overseeing the product photo shoot to assisting with website colors and layout.
  • Developed industry-focused blogs to establish thought leadership and drive inbound leads to the new website.
  • With the website live, Rainier embarked on an aggressive announcement strategy that raised awareness of the company and drove traffic to the website.
  • Arranged introduction briefings with editors and analysts.
  • Targeted editors/analysts attending Printed Electronics USA for meetings and live demos.
  • Supported Nano Dimension’s activities before and at CES.

Results

Rainier’s launch campaign for Nano Dimension was a whirlwind of activity from the start, culminating in a wildly successful CES for the previously unknown startup. Highlights included:

  • Rainier arranged 1:1 meetings for Nano Dimension with 16 influential editors and analysts:
  • Out of 500+ companies exhibiting at CES Tech West, Nano Dimension made the list of 11 Innovations to Check Out at CES 2016’s Eureka Park
  • A CNET interview pitched and arranged by Rainier culminated in this video filmed at the show, and which has been viewed more than 18,000 times: Is this the Holy Grail of 3D printers?: CES 2016
